It enabled me also to show solidarity with and remember those Canadian soldiers who served with my grandfather during the Great War. My pic was taken the following day when English weather had caught up with me. ”

They seem to have a great live music scene there so it would definitely be worth checking out when a show is playing. The outdoor seating area comprised twelve spacious tables, accommodating groups of 4-6 people comfortably. Though renowned for their beer selection, we opted for a lighter fare. The Deep Fried Pork with sweet Thai sauce was a mouthwatering delight. The succulent pork was perfectly cooked, and the sauce provided a delightful balance of flavors. The Nachos, generously topped with melted cheese, jalapenos, and salsa, were a crunchy and savory treat. For dessert, we couldn't resist the apple crumble cone, which was accompanied by a generous dollop of whipped cream. The combination of warm, cinnamon-infused apple crumble and cool, creamy whipped cream was simply heavenly. The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff ensured a pleasant dining experience throughout. “ Fantastic little restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside. Based out of the Legion. Great prices, great service and great food. They also host a lot of events here to my understanding, looks like a fun place to go! It's a block or two off the main street as well, so it was nice to get out of the bigger crowds of people. ”

“ To begin, I rarely give 5 star reviews. I consider 4 stars to be an exceptional restaurant I would return to, so 5 stars is huge in my books. To begin, the atmosphere to fantastic. Darts, pool, basketball, and foosball are all included FREE with your bar stay; very generous of the organization. Next, the food portions are huge for what you pay. Prices are budget friendly and food is very filling and delicious. Got the southwest bbq burger and we all shared nachos which were amazing and filling. The proceeds go to helping veterans and their programs so you can feel confident the food you buy pays for a noble cause. Overall this bar with a charitable goal goes above and beyond. Come here not for a good time, come here for a great time. ”
“ I had an amazing time at The Stand Easy! The atmosphere was relaxed, a lot of historical information hang on the walls. Very welcoming, with great music that wasn’t too loud. The bartenders were super friendly specialy Sue and Karlie..best cocktails I’ve had in a while—especially the Mini Guinness! Prices were reasonable, and the service was fast even when it got busy. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend for a fun night out! Love the people! ”
